Friday I had the Don Herrmann group with Don, Don, Chris, and Brett. A clod front pushed through the night before and left behind cool temps and lots of wind. We made our first stop in Hopedale Lagoon and caught a few small a trout, but nothing to put in the box. The next two spots had boats on them already, so I headed deeper in the marsh and fished a pond near Four Horse. We got on a slow, but steady bite fishing with Campo's live shrimp under a cork, so we stuck with it. As the falling tide picked up so did the action. The guys had a great time catching a little bit of everything that swims in the marsh. We ended the day with 90 Trout, 7 Reds, 8 Drum, 9 Heads, and 2 Flounder.
The Fall bite is here and the fish are closer in and hungry. Don't miss out on the best fishing of the year, call today. Campo's is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and two back down ramps. Nice and easy launching with helpful advice from the Campo's is waiting for you. For your next fishing adventure call United Charters. Very nice overnight accommodations are available. 504-439-1680.
