Good day at the Beach. Today I had Bill Meyers and his friend John onboard. After a stop at Campo's for bait we headed over to Lake Amadee on a picture perfect morning. We made two stops today and the guys filled the boat with Trout fishing with Campo's live shrimp under a cork. With our limits of Trout on ice we made one stop on the way back to the house and picked up a Drum and Reds to add to the box, along with a 22 pound Drum John caught and released. The guys had a great time and headed back to Mississippi with a cooler full of filets. Total for the day was 75 Trout, 1 Red, 1 Drum, and 4 Sheepshead.
The Fall fishing in Shell Beach is some of the best of the year. The fish are close, hungry, and the weather is nice. There are still some open dates so book yours soon. Campo's is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and two back down ramps. Nice and easy launching with helpful advice from the Campo's is waiting for you. For your next fishing adventure call United Charters. Very nice overnight accommodations are available. 504-439-1680.
