Good day on the Beach today. Today Brian Renshaw, Mike Whitehead, Stan Rorison, and Kirk Gauthier were onboard. As usual of late the wind was blowing and the water was high. At our first stop in the marsh the Puppy Drum were thick and eating up. Only problem was they were 14"-15", must have boated 30 or more with 2 keepers to show for. Made a move and fished a deep bayou where we got on a good Trout bite with Campo's shrimp on a Carolina rig. The guys had a great time filling the box and when all was said and done we had 116 Trout, 35 Whites, 12 Sheepshead, 2 Drum, and 1 Red. Sorry, no photo today. The rain came down hard when we got back to the dock.
Fall fishing is in full swing and the action is outstanding. Come on down and see what a great fishery we have in the Shell Beach area. Be sure stop by Campo's for their friendly service, world famous live shrimp and croakers, ice, fuel, and launch. Call United Charters now for your next fishing adventure 504-439-1680.
