The water levels and temperature are rising. As the water warms the fish become more aggressive and the fishing really heats up. Top water plugs are a great way to start. The past few weeks the sight fishing for redfish and black drum have been the ticket. We are finding large schools of each on the flats. Both species have been tailing in the early morning and in the middle of the day. The big 'Slobberknocker' redfish are showing up in their homes and once the water temperature reaches 78 degrees they will begin to float high in the water column and fin on the surface. Uusally pinfish or live mullet are needed to catch these fish.

We have also seen and caught a few large 'Gator' trout.

We have a front moving in for the next few days, which should be our last decent front. This should really fire the fish up once it passes. So check out my website and call 407-405-0819. There are days open in April and I am already booking for May.
