Bio: Captain David Rogers is a native Floridian who grew up fishing Florida waters. He has 30 plus years experience fishing Florida. The Captain has fished many lakes, rivers and several famous destinations such as Englewood, Boca Grande, Islamorada, Chokoloskee, the Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon. Captain David is on several pro staffs which include Rip Tide Saltwater Lures, Daiichi Hooks, Hell's Bay Boat Works and Mercury Marine. He also is a regular guest on the Florida Sportsman East Central Florida radio show with Captain Russ Rivers and Captain Jim Ross and has been featured in the Orlando Sentinel five times. [Mosquito Lagoon,FL] The waters are rising and warming up in the Mosquito Lagoon. The fishing is good and getting better each week. The mullet are showing and form April on it is a blast!

[Mosquito Lagoon,FL] The redfish have been chewing hard. Ethan, Andy and Matt landed 25 today and 45 over 3 days. August and September only get better!
[Mosquito Lagoon,FL] The Black Drum and Redfish bite has been off the hook. It has been really hot. We have been averaging 15-20 per day.
[Mosquito Lagoon,FL] June was a great month of fishing in the Mosquito Lagoon. The highlight of the month was fishing with Larry The Cable Guy! It was a hoot!

[Mosquito Lagoon,FL] The fishing has been on fire the last 5 days. We have landed 96 redfish since October 4. Most of the fish are in the slot (18-27 inches). We have had a few over. Awesome!

[Mosquito Lagoon,FL] The fishing continues to be solid on the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River Lagoon. My son got 2 25 pound redfish last week and MAureen got a 35 pound redfish. We also caught some nice trout and other species. July is always a good bet and August real good for big redfish.
[Mosquito Lagoon,FL] WOW! What a way to start July! Falon, Lauren and Marge hooked 9 and landed 7 monster redfish today! If this is any indication of July it will be HOT! HOT! HOT!
[Mosquito Lagoon,FL] The month of June is gone, but some awesome memories were made. Most of my clients caught the largest redfish of their lives and many caught the largest fish of their life. July and August will be hot as always. The key is to go early and finish by noon. The top water bite really heats up.
