The fishing has been steady and hot on the Mosquito Lagoon. We have been catching some big ol' "Slobberknockers" in May. April was also good. From June until October you can catch a redfish of a lifetime. Generally we have calm mornings and it not unusual to see a school of 200 plus redfish tailing and floating high in the water column. These fish are incredible to watch let alone catch. Once you have hooked one you will understand the term "Slobbeknocker". They knock the slobber out of your bait and you think you have hooked a freight train. Sometimes the large redfish are called the "Indian River Express". These are majestic fish and landing one will give you a memory that will burn in your mind for a lifetime.
