Now is the time to catch a trophy redfish. I call them SLOBBERKNOCKERS because they knock the slobber out of your bait. The fishing had been on fire and should remain that way into September and October. Cut bait and live bait have worked best. The MirrOLure MirrODine 17 MR has been hot. We are also catching plenty of trout. The torut are in 3-5 feet of water and eating jigs and jerk bait very well. Now is the time to book for September and October.
