Great day on the Beach Wednesday. Todd Hardy and Gary Kramer from Houston were on board and after a stop by Campo's for bait we headed off in the heavy fog. Things started off slow. There was little tide movement and just not a lot of activity around. Made several stops before moving to another area where we got on some action. Fishing on the bottom the guys were catching some pretty Trout along with Drum and Heads. We moved on to another spot and hit pay dirt. Big Trout (2-3 pounds) were flying in the boat fast and Reds of all sizes were making the Okuma reels sing. The Reds got to be a nuisance keeping us from the Trout, but what a good problem to have. With worn out arms and a long drive ahead of them the guys had enough and to the house we went loaded down with fish. The guys had a blast and can't wait to get back down again. Total catch for the day was 70 Trout, 9 Reds, 7 Drum, and 4 Sheepshead.
