Great fishing Sunday on the Beach. John Coleman, Rob Joiner, and Mark Archer were my guests for the day. Once again the wind had been howling all night and into the morning. Good thing was that the NE wind brought in lots of water to the marsh. With the high water I wanted to try out an area on the Delacroix side that I have not been to in a while. The tide was still coming in and the water looked good. We made 2 stops fishing with Campo's live shrimp under a cork and filled the boat with our limits of nice Trout. We made a move to the shore of a close by lagoon to look for some Reds. Here the guys had a blast picked up 8 nice Reds. The weather was great, the fishing good, and the company was a lot of fun. What more could you ask for? Total catch for the day was 100 Trout, 8 Reds, and 6 Sheepshead.
The Trout have moved inside and are eating up. Come on down and see what a great fishery we have in the Shell Beach area. Be sure stop by Campo's for their friendly service, world famous live shrimp, ice, fuel, and launch. If you want to get in on some of the best fishing to be found give us a call. Check out the photos of the fish our guests have been catching. For charter info call (504)-881-9966 or (504)-887-4960.
