CPB CREW! Bubba, John, Rodney, and Biff down to Hopedale for a nice cool weather fall fishing trip. NOT well they got the fish but boy was it hot for Oct 3rd I think it got up to 90 today. We started off with a thick fog which kept us from running until about 8:00 AM. Went to where I left the trout only to find them not home. Moved around drifting a bit putting trout in the box for awhile but no hot spot. Decided to hit my redfish hole and found the reds, drums and sheephead eager to take our baits. But the crew wanted more trout so I decided to head outside. Found some nice trout at the islands and some under the birds too. Hit several places catching a few at each but no hot spots. Any way we had a blast and ended up with a box full of some good eating fish for the crew. Bubba said they will be back and hope the weather is a little cooler, never can predict the weather in south Louisiana.
