Gene Dugas

Got a late start yesterday after the rain storms passed but Dave, Kate, Don, and Karen were staying in the camp and made the trip down last night so we headed out into 25to30mph wind to give our best. Well it was rough and dirty everywhere but I fished everywhere I could think of out of the wind. Started off with a few small trout but the conditions were not favorable so dead shrimp under corks for reds and drums was the tactic for most of the day. Found a few nice trout off of a protected point in Four Horse but it never really turned on. Finished the day fishing the reds in the ponds. The girls really stomped the guy's they caught most of the reds and drums. Any way we made the best of tough weather day and ended up with a nice box of fish which turned into 4 gallon bags of fillets headed back to Mccomb MS.
