Ice Water, Bottoms up and a Tuna
Offshore Fishing Report – Durban – 19th December 2018
The water was ice cold between 19 deg.C and 20 deg.C and even though conditions were reasonable, the SE swell was very steep making for an awkward roll and pitch when taking them from the side. We got out to some reefs and did some bottom fishing catching a variety of bottom species including some nice size Slinger and after a few hours of this we took a slow troll back and hooked up 1 Yellowfin Tuna, dropped another one and then got 2 decent size Sarda Sarda.
