We left Shayamoya at around 04h50 with our breakfast packs and went down to launch the boat, The wind was already starting to blow and it was still from the NE, the water surface temperature was still averaging around 22 deg. C.
The water was even more discoloured that the previous day and so I realised that we had another tough day ahead of us, it was a sunny and very hot day which went up to around 34 deg. C. We fished until 13h00.
I decided to use the same strategy at the previous day and stick to the water between the weed beds and the bank using surface lures and although we had several strikes we only landed 5 fish all around 1Kg (2.2lbs) and we had lost at least another 5 of similar size in the weeds.
We got to see some Rhino, Giraffe, Hippos and Wildebeest whilst out there.
