We launched from Durban harbour at 05h00 and went South of the harbour mouth to take the kiddies to do some light tackle fishing for Mackerel, Shad & Sardines using Yozuri's for a few hours.
The wind was blowing already in the morning but the swell was small. The water surface temperature averaged 24 deg. C.
Light tackle Yozuri fishing is great fun for the kiddies and keeps them busy as you are always catching fish and they can land more than 100 fish in a few hours, the fish are not big and so easy for them to handle by themselves.
Truth be told, most adults also enjoy this kind fishing including myself and it always put a smile of joy on everyone's face. It is simply just great fun.
