Last Thursday's report from the Beach. Fred Baker and his friends Terry, Bob, and Harry spent the night at Capt. Frank's place Wednesday evening. We started out in Lake Borgne and on got a few Trout early, but the bite was short lived. There was no tide moving in the Lake or the Biloxi Marsh. We picked up a few fish here and there, but lots of throw backs. Got a call from Capt. Frank that he was on a good bite so we headed his way. The tide was finally moving and the corks were going down. The guys had a blast putting a nice box of Trout together till all of the live shrimp were gone and we called it quits.
The fishing in Shell Beach is outstanding and the fall fishing is on fire. The next three months will be some of the best fishing of the year. There are still some open dates so book yours soon. Campo's is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and two back down ramps. Nice and easy launching with helpful advice from the Campo's is waiting for you. For your next fishing adventure call United Charters. Very nice over night accommodations are available. 504-439-1680.
