Late report for Saturday at the Beach. Krass DeGorge brought a couple of his friends down for a day of fishing. I picked them up at his brother's Camp and we headed over to Lake Machias. Fishing with Campo's live shrimp under a cork the guys got on a good trout bite. The Trout were nice and fat 16"-18" fish. Once this bite faded we made a few moves and found some more Trout. The guys had a blast and put together a nice box of fish. Total for the day was 95 Trout, 6 Reds, 2 Drum and 1 Head.
The fishing in Shell Beach is outstanding and the fall fishing is on fire. The next three months will be some of the best fishing of the year. There are still some open dates so book yours soon. Campo's is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and two back down ramps. Nice and easy launching with helpful advice from the Campo's is waiting for you.
