Late report from last Friday on the Beach. I had the pleasure of fishing with Ken Kerlander, his wife Marion, and Lester Lautenschlaeger. We made 2 stops in the marsh and filled the boat with fish. Campo's live shrimp on a Carolina rig did the trick, and the Bayou Chub worked well also. There were some Reds, Drum, and Sheepshead mixed in with the Trout to make the Okuma reels sing. Lots of fun with some super nice people. Total catch was 100 Trout, 2 Reds, 5 Drum, and 6 Sheepshead.
The Trout have moved inside and are eating up. Come on down and see what a great fishery we have in the Shell Beach area. Be sure stop by Campo's for their friendly service, world famous live shrimp, croakers, ice, fuel, and launch. If you want to get in on some of the best fishing to be found give us a call. Check out the photos of the fish our guests have been catching. For charter info call (504)-881-9966 or (504)-887-4960.
