Well Jimmy, you missed a fun trip. Had Lee aboard yesterday as his buddy Jimmy had to cancel at the last minute. Lee said that since it was just us two that he wanted to go the artificial route and hunt down the trout and reds. We headed out at 7am for the Biloxi Marsh and with the high clear water it made for the perfect lure fishing day so we tied on some H&H gold spoons and started working the grasslines in some of the larger ponds and got on a good redfish bite. The water was black and the reds were bright orange gold and were in the 5 to 7 lb. range. We hooked up and landed over 15 nice reds and kept our 10 limit for the grille. Than we noticed that the tide was starting to fall so we left the reds and headed for some trout action. We tied on Opening Nights 2 ft. under a rattling cork and worked the smaller duck ponds and caught over 40 trout and kept 25 for a good fish fry. Needless to say it was a great day even with the windy conditions and Jimmy is going to get a good ribbing when Lee finds him. ANOTHER GREAT DAY IN THE BLAZER BAY.
MARSH MASTER RODS, ABU REELS AND H&H TACKLE HAULED THEM IN AGAIN.
GIVE US A CALL AND GET IN ON SOME GREAT SHELL BEACH FALL REDFISH AND TROUT MARSH ACTION.
