4:30 Sat 11/1. Left the dock for the night trip with Mike Lahti and Joe the lawyer. Still a little gun-shy from the day trip, I knew that one of the drops we made during the day would produce results. We had it all in our favor. Outgoing tide, great weather for the time of the year and plenty of coffee. Set up on the anchor at about 6:15 set four lines and got a chum slick going. Well that was all she wrought. Non-stop action all tide, we did about 35 to 40 fish in the first three hours after that I don't know how many. Blues and bass all tide. Back at the dock about midnight, cut fish cleaned the boat for the next trip and went to sleep. Largest of the bass at 21 lbs with the rest in the 18 to 20 lb range. Lost count after a while but we had about 20 or so bass.
The rest of the trips this week have been night trips. The Joseph party was onboard again this week and had plenty of fish. Largest fish in the last week was 32.5 on Monday. Most fish in the 18 to 20 lb range for the past week. Bluefish size LARGE.
I'm sure we will have good Striped Bass fishing well into December. Still have good dates available. Give us a call, get in on the action.
