More fun on the Beach

More fun on the Beach. Today I had Neil Stillman, John Hood, and Nick Rose all from Houston on board. The guys were in town for a convention and wanted to get in on some of our great Louisiana fishing. We got a late start, but after a stop by Campo's for some live shrimp we were off to Black Bay. We stopped at a small island where I have been on some nice Trout and they were there again, but not eating up. We made a small move down the shore of this island and got on a good Trout bite. We were fishing with live shrimp under a cork and filling the box up nicely when I got a call on the radio from a friend that need a jump. It was hard to leave these fish, but you got to help a friend in need. After that we hopped around a bunch of well heads with little success. With a nice box of fish and early flights to catch we called it an early day. We ended up with 45 Trout and 3 Reds. The guys had a great time and said it would take a month of fishing in TX for a box like this. Nothing like Louisiana fishing, you got to love it. Fishing is excellent at the present time.
