Mike Gonzales from Mossy Motors of New Orleans set up this trip for Scott, Sterling, Wendal, and Digits some of their employees for a job well done. Well they got a reward for their work an AWESOME DAY on the water.
Things started a little iffy no live bait was to be had at the bait shop but luckily I had a few croaker and shrimp in a cage from yesterday. I went to spot of mine in Black bay and found the big trout there taking our live croakers with a vengeance trouble was we only had 40 in the live well. But the guys took my instruction on the croaker bite well and put 32 in the box 2 to 5 lbs. Digits had the big trout of the day a solid 5 pound Trout. Moved on to a small well head and got on some more trout just a grade smaller but in the 2 lb range nice fish.
The good thing here was they were hitting plastic under corks because the few shrimp we had went fast. We stayed right there moving only slightly and finished our limit. The guys had a blast and were a lot of fun to fish with. They said they would be back again soon. Scotty had told me his boss said he was concerned about there being very little tide movement today, but it did not seem to make a difference today the weather was great and the fishing AWESOME a two stop trip today.
