Outstanding day on the on the Beach today. Gary Migliory, Brian Horn, and Larry Buras came down for some fishing fun. Long time friends that have not fished together in years, and fish they did. The morning started of with a stop for some of Campo's live shrimp. The weather was perfect, light wind, slight overcast, and good falling tide. Our first stop of the day was in Lake Robin. The Trout were all over the place attacking anything in the water that moved. The action was fast, and the Trout were very nice with no throw backs at all, just plenty of fat 16"-20" Trout. Trout number 100 hit the ice at 8:30am. After this we moved to another spot in the marsh, and got on the Puppy Drum. Limited out on nice 17"-22" Drum in no time, along with 6 Reds. It was a fun day of fishing, and the fish box would hardly shut with all that meat in there. My guys went home with boxes full of filets and big smiles.
I am going to be in Lafitte tomorrow to fish in the HOOK A CURE FOR CFF RODEO in Lafitte at Joe's Landing to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
