Jumbo Seabass Limits NJ by
Jeff Gutman
(12/31/2006)
We had two offshore seabass trips this past weekend. The first trip we had many limits of jumbo seabass and a few ling. There were a couple of fish that were close for the pool so the two pool contenders decided to weigh their fish at our tackle shop, Fishermen's Supply, when we got back to the dock.

Adam Alfano
(10/31/2006)
I would like to wish all the young children out there, a fun and safe Halloween!!! The Defiant will be leaving Point Pleasant New Jersey on Thursday, and will make it's 5-6 day journey to Key Largo Florida. We are hoping that ocean conditions become decent, so we can run Offshore, instead of the Intercoastal, but we shall see.

Well it appears that this season is a wrap, due to weather our last 9 Canyon trips were cancelled as well as a few Inshore trips as the winds have stayed with us for the past few weeks. All in all it was a great season and we would like to thank all of you that fished with us this year.

This past week we found blues that still had their roe in them so I cant say I'm 100% positive they finished their breeding cycle....but action has been fairly consistent, day or night.
