RAINING SPOTS AND DOTS!

Al Godwin and I met at Rocky and Carlos for lunch yesterday then headed down to Hopedale for an afternoon fishing trip. We headed out in rain suits with a light rain falling determined to catch some fish. It was not long and the rods were bent over. The live Campo shrimp on Al's rod and bayside shad plastic in avocado on mine had some nice speckled trout jumping in the boat. Well the rain got harder and the thunder louder and the only two fools out on the water were having a ball catching up speckled trout one after another. After getting our limit of trout on ice we went after the reds trolling the banks with shrimp under a cork with 5 nice ones in the box and a few small ones released and we headed for the dock A Beautiful afternoon fishing. Glad you made it A, looks like we started off the new year right!
