Reds in the wind Wednesday at the Beach. It was another windy day like it has been since last week and on my boat were Lou Odem and Barry Carter. After a stop by Campo's for bait we headed into the Biloxi Marsh. The strong ENE winds had the tide up high. Our first stop was in Stump Lagoon and from there we moved deeper into the marsh catching fish at every stop. Fishing the wind blown shorelines with live shrimp under a cork up against the grass the guys had a great time catching Reds, Drum, Trout and Heads. The guys had a great time filling the box to the top with some pretty fish, and can't wait to get back down and go again. Total catch for the day was 15 Reds, 23 Trout, 4 Drum, 12 Sheepshead, and 2 Flounder.
The fishing remains outstanding even with the strong winds, so come on down and see what a great fishery we have in the Shell Beach area. Be sure stop by Campo's for their friendly service, world famous live shrimp, croakers, ice, fuel, and launch. If you want to get in on some of the best fishing to be found give us a call. Check out the photos of the fish our guests have been catching. For charter info call (504)-881-9966 or (504)-887-4960.
