Ran a trip last week taking out part of the Regan Leopold group. I picked the guys up at the camp and we ran straight out to the Sound with the live well loaded with Campo's live shrimp and croakers. Our first stop produced a few good Trout till the teeth fish and monster Drum took over. Our next stop we got on a steady bite on some big Trout. It would start and stop, but the guys kept at it and before long we could not fit another fish in the box. We called it a day and headed on in. 81 Trout, 5 Pompano, 1 Red, and a few Heads. The rest of the crew in Regan's boat put a hurt on the big Trout also.
The fishing in Shell Beach is outstanding and the Trout bite is on big time. There are still some open dates so book yours soon. Campo's is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and two back down ramps.
