Gene Dugas

Larry, and Ken Romero, Cecil Monte, and Todd Bandeaux were up early and ready to go this morning. Headed out the Black bay to find the sky Black and windy. Hid out at some islands and got a slow bite going but it would not turn on, that was to be the pattern for the day. The weather cleared some so we tried the reds and got son some big ones catching our limit over 27 inches and one under and released a few more bulls before moving on... Ran out to some rigs and got a few trout but nothing steady. Larry did battle with a big Jack that just about took all his line before I could get the anchor up and start the motor. A long fight but he got him in after pictures we released him to fight again. We stayed at it before getting run in by the rain and put a nice box of fish together. It was one of those days the fish never did really turn on.
