Another weekend is in the books and what a busy one it was. Boats, people, fish, great weather, what more could the local economy ask for?

Friday morning was cold as usual and the warm-up the weather man promised never came. Low 30's when we quit and a brisk wind under a bright sun. didn't matter as we a had real nice day with a steady pick from beginning to end.

Saturday AM, even colder (12) but it did warm up fast. Lot's of traffic, bright sun clear water and most struggled for a few fish. We had a handful of shots and managed to land a few. Slow day, but good company, super cigars, great single malt scotch and lot's of stories. Thanks again Gary & Dave.

Sunday AM looked like a mid December day. Dark cloudy zero wind to start and a light steady snow, now I am sick of winter, but it was a pretty sight and conditions were perfect. Tom and his 13 yr old grandson Kyle where spoiled today, as the bite was on big time!! From top to bottom we had multiple hook-ups about everywhere I set the anchor. Kyle would get the first drift and yell; I got one! We took a good beating getting most of them to the net, but we got to fight a bunch and land a handful. This young man did a great job and he will want more of what he got to experience today.

Just goes to show how one day and a weather change can make all the difference.

Water is about 1,500 plus run-off, a real nice flow. Look for the water to go back up later this week if we get the warm temps and rain that is currently predicted.

The Oswego continues to fish good as well and I hear good reports from the lakeshore.

Forget that the temps are cold and it snowed today, Spring is here, just look at the calendar, it says so!
