Saturday report from the Beach. I had the pleasure of fishing a couple of great guys, Jeff and Walter. We started out looking for Trout in the Machias area and got on a decent bite, but it did not last long. The wind picked up and the bite stopped. We moved closer to the inside and fished a shoreline that produced a nice little mix of fish including Trout, Reds, and Flounder. We then headed deeper in the marsh looking to get out of the wind and put some reds on ice and that the guys did. It was a lot of fun being on the water with them and their constant poking fun at each other. Total take home for the day was 33 Trout, 15 Reds, 4 Drum, and 2 Flounder.
The Fall bite is here and the fish are closer in and hungry. Don't miss out on the best fishing of the year, call today. Campo's is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and two back down ramps. Nice and easy launching with helpful advice from the Campo's is waiting for you. For your next fishing adventure call United Charters. Very nice overnight accommodations are available. 504-439-1680.
