Slammed them on the Beach today. My guests for the day were Dan Trusty, Doug Yarborough, Kenny Parker, and Bill Flanders. Armed with a well full of Campo's shrimp we hit the marsh. Our first stop was in a deep oyster covered bayou and the tide was falling nicely. Right away the guys started hauling in Trout with Carolina rigs on the bottom. There were plenty of Drum and Sheepshead mixed in the Trout. The bite slowed down a little so we moved over another bayou and got on a good bite there. The trout ran from 12"-18" with some throwbacks mixed in. It was constant action. When the shrimp started to get low we put on the Bayou Chubs and the Trout ate them up them. The guys had a fantastic time loading up the boat with limits of Trout on a pretty day. Total for the day was 125 Trout, 10 Drum, 9 Sheepshead, and 2 Flounder.
