Larry and Paul were determined to fish today despite the howling winds and reports of rain. We drove down thru rain this morning and when I got out of the truck the wind almost blew me over but these guys were ready to give it their best. I went to the most protected area I could think of first and found few birds working the mouth of the pond, good sign. First cast Paul had one thrashing on the surface and before he could reel him in Larry had one too. We stayed in this area drifting back and forth fishing Shrimp and plastic on corks picking off the trout. Lots of bait in the ponds shrimp every where. Stayed at it until they had their limit of trout. Tried a few drain outs and caught reds at all of them but they were all 14 to 15 inches, fun to catch and release but none made it to the ice chest. Any way it was an awesome trip in the 25 mph winds and still caught the limit of trout.

50 TROUT

12 Redfish undersized released
