The Marsh Maniacs invade the Beach. On Friday Fred Guedry brought his son the famous FishBoy, along with Miss CarrieAnna and KidCrab (Cam, her son) down for some Shell Beach action. The weather forecast was not so good, but it turned out to be a nice day, just very windy. We started off in a pond where the Reds were the day before and they were there again. Fishing with shrimp tipped plastics under a cork the crew put some nice Reds and a few Drum on ice. When our Redfish action slowed up we went to look for some Trout. By this time the wind was really blowing hard. We started drift fishing in Lake Amadee. Bayou Chubs under a cork were what they wanted and every drift produced Trout. We called it a day with a very nice box of fish and one heck of a good time. Total for the day was 14 Reds, 2 Drum, and 45 Trout. For your next fishing adventure call United Charters 504-439-1680.
