What a great week to be on the water. We fished out of Grand Isle. Louisiana this Tuesday and Wednesday. We left both days around 6:00 a.m. out of Bridge Side Marina and headed south looking for tuna and wahoo. Our first location we stopped at was so loaded red snapper we actually hooked 2 of them while trolling. We continued south crossing into blue water about 60 miles offshore. There was some scattered grass but nothing worth fishing. We trolled for a while both days and only landed 1 nice wahoo. We started chuming and the tuna where every where under the boat. We caught tuna after tuna loosing several to sharks. We had to move several times to get away from the sharks. On the way in we stopped to try and catch amberjack. We limited out fast with the amberjack ranging from 40lbs to 80lbs. If you would like to go on a Charter Fishing Trip of a lifetime, come fish with FISH COMMANDER FISHING CHARTERS.
