Tuna in tough conditions.
Offshore Fishing Report – 15 November 2019
With all this bad weather we managed to get out and do some fishing, we encountered rain and some uncomfortable seas but managed Yellowfin Tuna each day. We got taxed on a monster size Bonnie when a rather large Zambezi (Bull) Shark took it by the boat before we could gaff it. We found some areas with blue water over 24.5 deg.C, came across a school of over 100 Dorado but all where the size of my hand, was amazing to see them jumping and perfectly formed in every way even though so small, Dorado grow so fast soon the will be decent sizes. Lots of Greater Hammerhead sharks about and we saw some giant Manta Rays jumping in various different areas, a lot of schools of bait fish out in the deep. Fishing was tough but the signs are all positive.
