Crappie - Crappie bite today was good. We were on the water with Howard Bates , James Bates and Michael Holderfield from Shoals Area Alabama we had 54 good crappie. We caught all our fish trolling shallow water coves with 6 to 8 feet of water. We were pulling 1/24 ounce jig- heads with Southern Pro Hot Grubs. Best colors for us today were Crawdad - Sour Grape and Weiss Lake Killer. Water is finally warming up and breaking the mid 50's. Crappie bite was real good today and should get better as the water warms up even more. We are now booking 2011 Spring dates so call and get your date reserved on Weiss Lake today...! Good Fishing...!
