What a difference a day makes. Sunday morning conditions were ideal unlike the day before. It was nice and cool, clear, and no wind. Mack and Bob hoped on in an off to the Sound we went. At our first stop Bob started fishing with a Top Dog Jr. and right away the water blew up and a Trout slammed his bait. Bob pulled in a nice 3 pound Trout. Fishing with both Bayou Chubs under a cork and with the Top Dog the guys put some nice Trout on ice before the tide stopped and so did our bite. We made a move and got on a good bite of some monster Sheepshead along with Drum and Reds fishing with shrimp on the bottom. Before long the fish box was full and off to the house we went. Capt. Frank fried up some of the fish for the guys while the rest of their fish were being cleaned. It was a great way to cap off a fun day of fishing. Total for the day was 21 Trout, 2 Reds, 1 Pompano, 3 Drum, and a load of Sheepshead.
