Had a couple of really nice young men from Seattle on board for a morning of catching. Joe and Billy wanted to get on some reds as they had heard so much about it. We headed for the Biloxi Marsh and some of my favorite ponds and with the high tide we fished the smaller ponds and hit paydirt. Fishing Campo's live shrimp 2 ft. under a rattling cork was the ticket and the guys really had a ball hooking up and landing some nice reds in the 4 to 8 lb. range, just right for grilling. Most of the reds were slamming the cork before taking the shrimp and the guys couldn't believe they were taking the cork until they would have them on for a few seconds before the red would turn the cork loose. Patience is the name of the game and they soon learned to have plenty. We put over 25 reds in the boat, keeping our 15 limit and had 21 trout that we caught while fishing the reds. Joe and Billy can't wait to do it again because they had never caught fish like that before. They enjoyed seeing the marshes and all the wildlife and had a really great time. ANOTHER GREAT DAY IN THE BLAZER BAY.
MARSH MASTER RODS, ABU REELS, H&H TACKLE AND CAMPO'S LIVE SHRIMP HAULED THEM IN AGAIN.
