RED FISH DAY TODAY!
Well the WIND was Blowing Again what's new. Stared out looking for the trout but the windy and dirty water conditions dictated some thing different. We had 3 boats out today and no one was on the trout so I it was to be a redfish day. James and Taylor Bridges, Mike Cobb, Brandon Warford from Natchitoches Louisiana were game. So we tied on some spinners and spoons and found some protected ponds to fish. Trolling the shore and picking up some beautiful redfish 1 at a time the LSU color spinners were working better than the gold spoons. The guys had a blast with the Bronze Brutes in the shallow water with the drags screaming. We had one triple hookup all 3 big reds turned the boat into chaos for awhile. Great day in the wind again. We did mange a few trout after the guy's boxed limit of reds. The Motor Guide 36V troll motor and Power Pole got work out today could not do with out them today. The other 2 boats had some trout and good catches of reds doing the same thing. Thanks to Capt. George and Anthony for a job well done in tough conditions.
