Larry Romero and Family! Wife Pam daughter Laura and Son Cecil were met with some very windy conditions yesterday morning. So I headed to the protection of the interior marsh and first stop were on the trout. Tide was pouring in with birds diving and shrimp jumping and trout on almost every cast; but a lot throw backs with a few good fish mixed in. We dodged the rain by running back to the dock for a while then back out again. The trout were to be small all day but steady action. Got into as few reds and drum in some deep water but the bite never really turned on. Finished up in a protected lagoon out of the wind putting some more legal trout on ice before caiiling it a day around 12:30.We did well despite the wind and a good time was had by all. This was Laura's first trip and she was doing pretty well against the fish machine Cecil. Larry always fishes hard and Pam was taking it easy just enjoying the day catching fish.
