Another windy fish filled day on the Beach. Matt, Ricky, Randall, and Brian were onboard today. The wind was calm early, but I knew it would blow as soon as the sun came up so off into the marsh for Reds. Fishing with dead shrimp under a cork the guys had a blast catching some aggressive reds that were hitting the corks before they found the bait. Hard wind and hard fighting fish were the rule of the day. The guys ended up putting 21 Reds, 5 Drum, 7 Sheepshead, 10 Trout and 1 Flounder on ice. It was a fun day of fishing with a great group of guys.
Live shrimp will be available Monday afternoon and the Trout are out there once this wind stops blowing, but the hot Redfish action sure has been fun.
