Fast and fun on the Beach today. I had the pleasure of fishing with Bill Couret and Ronnie Millette. First of all we stopped by Campo's for some of their world famous shrimp before hitting the MRGO. The SW wind was blowing pretty good so we got in a semi protected area on the edge of the Sound. As soon as the live shrimp under a cork hit the water it would disappear and a nice Trout would come thrashing to the surface. The action was fast and the Trout were nice, mixed from 13"-23". Too much fun for me to miss out on so I joined in and by 7:30 Trout #75 hit the box. With Trout limits done so fast we made a couple of stops for a few Reds picking up 4 for the grill. Total catch was 75 Trout, 4 Reds, 1 Sheepshead, and a lot of fun.
