It was a wet and windy week here on the Neuse River, but that didn’t stop us from putting fish in the boat. The water has remained warm and there is plenty of bait. Our fall fishing has yet to kick into high gear, but a few cooler nights in the forecast should have things really hoping. World famous fly fisherman, Mr. Bob Clouser joined me this past week and we caught some very nice specks and redfish (puppy drum) on the fly rod. The fish came from both the creeks and the river. Look for this pattern to continue with more fish moving into the creeks as we move into November and December
