Fun day at the Beach. Saturday I had part of a bachelor party group out for a little fishing fun. On my boat were Dante Rose, Diego Rose, Dale Golland, and Mark Alter. The weather in the Sound was great and the tide not so great, but the fish were there and eager. Fishing with Bayou Chubs under a cork on Marsh Master rods with Okuma reels the crew put a lot of Trout in the boat at our first two stops. At each stop we would get on a great bite that would fizzle out, but those two stops put most of the fish in the box. We made a few other moves picking up a few at each, but could not get a hot bite going. The birds were working all over the place and the small Trout and Sailcats kept us busy picking away keepers. It made for constant action all day long. My crew were good fisherman and a blast to fish with. They made the day a lot of fun and all had a great time putting 90 Trout and 1 Red on ice.
