Fun day on the Beach Wednesday with the CT Traina crew. Joe Casanova brought along Mike Lee, JC Traina, and JC's son Jay. Armed with a well full of Campo's live shrimp we headed out to Bay Eloi where the guys got on a good Trout bite. Fishing with Campo's live shrimp on a Carolina rig the action was fast and the Trout ranged from 12"-18". Once this action died off we made a move to another rig but never could get them going there. By this time the wind had picked up, it was getting rougher and some of my crew were turning green so we headed inside to fish the edge. Without much luck finding a good Trout bite I suggested we go look for some Reds since the tide was high I knew we could find some action. We only made two stops in the marsh picking up several Reds at each and missing many others. With plenty of fish on ice and lots of sun burn to go around the guys called it a day. Total catch for the day was 75 Trout, 9 Reds, 2 Flounder, 2 Sheepshead, 1 Drum, and a great time by all.
