Great fishing Wednesday on the Beach. On board for the day were Phil Gachassin, Danny Harlin, Richard Sutton, and Jason. We picked up some bait at Campo's on the way out and headed over to the bayou I fished the day before. Live shrimp on a Carolina rig put fish in the boat fast. The bite slowed up so we hopped on over to another bayou and got on them again. The action was fast and we were going thru bait fast. We slid the Bayou Chub on the Carolina rig and the Trout really started to come into the boat. With limits of Trout done and some Drum in the box we hit a close by pond to look for some Reds. We picked up 5 and headed to the house. The guys had a great time and were a lot of fun to fish with. Total catch for the day was 125 Trout, 10 Drum, 5 Reds, and 2 Sheepshead.

I would like to invite everyone out this Saturday to join in on a fun time for a great cause. The "Hook-A-Cure" Rodeo is being held on Oct 13 at BSM in Hopedale, LA to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Entry fee is $30 for adults and $15 for under 18 yr old. Weigh in is at 2pm.
