
Monster red drum have invaded the Neuse River on there annual spawning run. This fantastic fishery will run through Sept and is VERY consistent. We're all catch and release here and the efforts show as we average 3 to 9 fish over 40 inches on a 5 hour trip. If you've seen the George Poveromo Show on the fish you know how incredible it is...lets go fishing!

He is currently the South Atlantic Regional editor for Shallow Water Anlger magazine and is an IGFA fly rod world record holder. He operates a flats boat and a 23 ft center console and fishes the Lower Neuse River, Pamlico Sound, Cape Lookout, the Roanoke River, and the Outer Banks for a wide variety of saltwater game fish including redfish, seatrout, striped bass, tarpon, false albacore and flounder.
