Weekend Report
What a Weekend! I had Charles Gagliano, part of the "silver bullet" gang and some newbees they brought along. They arrived on Friday night and enjoyed our accommodations.
We woke up early Saturday morning and headed down to the marina. We got ready to leave and the fog just blew in on us. We played it safe, unlike MANY, and waited a little while. When I felt it was safe, Big O(who was helping me with the cahrter) headed downriver. Our first stop did it! I was trolling into a point that produces allot of fish when I got ONE bite. I stopped anchored and the HARVEST began. By 9am we had 100 trout iced down. Nothing huge, but NO throwbacks. When I got ready to leave, I looked up to see 16 boats surrounding me! INCREDIBLE!! I must say though that they all kept there distance and did not harm us in anyway. Nonetheless I dont like fishing crowds! Made several stops for reds only catching about 10 and we called it a day. Big O also had 100 trout for the others in the group.
Day two for the guys ended in the same results, but getting there was a little different. It took us SEVERAL stops to get in on the bite, but when we hitem we hitem!! We went from 10 trout to 100 trout in a little over an hour! Big O found them and called us over. Teamwork pays off!
Fishing is just UNREAL right now. This past week I cleaned 500 trout! Thats just sick! Unfortunately, I dont have any immediate openings, but if you want to get in on some GREAT Summer/Fall action, you better call and book it now.
