[Gabriola Island,BC] Fishing is very good for chinook salmon. The fish are running 6 to 32 pounds.

[Gabriola Island,BC] Chinook fishing is good currently. The fish are offshore in deep water. Try trolling Coyotes at 140 to 160 feet for best results.

[Gabriola Island,BC] Chinook fishing is very sporadic, sometimes very good, sometimes slow. The fish are moving frequently, and you have to hunt them down. These are mature chinook in the 15 to 20 pound range.

[Gabriola Island,BC] Fishing is fair for chinook in the 10 to 20 pound range. Trolling Coyote spoons or strip at 100 to 180 feet is the best method. The low tide change is the best bite.
