Bio: My name is Capt. Larry Averitt, and I own and operate L.A. Charters. I am committed to giving my customers the most satisfying and enjoyable experience they can find when it comes to light-tackle fishing for speckled trout and redfish. I started fishing in the late 1960s and started fishing bass tournaments in 1970. I've been fishing for redfish and speckled trout since the early 1980s. It was a natural progression for me to make. What I learned fishing for bass has served me well as I now fish for saltwater species: Knowing seasonal patterns and being keenly aware of water conditions, temperature and other important details allows me to find fish for you.
[Venice,LA] Got a chance to come home for a day and took it. Haven't been putting up any reports because Brent and I haven't replaced the computer at the camp in Venice as of yet (no phone line in the house either). But the fishing has been excellent.
