[Weiss Lake,AL] World famous Lake Weiss Alabama The Crappie Capital of the World Fishing Report. Bass fishing is good The fish that went shallow have moved back to secondary points and deeper rocky banks following the shad. Some fish are still deep on the ledges in the main lake.

Coosa River Fishing Report (10/04/2006)
[Weiss Lake,AL] Bass fishing is good Most Large Mouth have moved shallow following the shad with the falling water temperature. Some fish are still deep in the main lake. I have been seeing some spotted bass surface action early in the morning on the old Coosa river channel near Yellow Creek A shallow running crank bait like the new Gizz 4 crank bait from Smack Tackle www.smacktackle.com is working awesome right now !
